Our main purpose is to help as many animals as we possibly can. We at Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Ireland, proudly in partnership with CDPA, believe in a world where the lives of animals are respected, and they are free from cruelty and suffering.

We are a group of animal lovers who will stop at nothing in our dedication to provide a better life for all the animals in our care. Paws & Claws is a NO KILL rescue, setting out to provide a number of services such as TNR (trap neuter return) feral cats, fostering and caring for sick and injured animals both big and small, and to provide the time and care required by those who need rehabilitation whether it be short or long term until such times as they are ready to be rehomed. 

We are based in Cavan Town. We, Carolyne McCabe & Geraldine Allen and a number of other volunteers, also run a Charity Shop in Cavan Town to raise much needed funds. As we are a charity we do rely heavily on the kind donations from members of the public as well as businesses. All monies from the shop & all donations go towards neutering, feeding, paying for medicine and vet bills for cats and dogs in our care.
